Barchowsky Dot OT is for beginners. Dots within the letters indicate where strokes start. Here is a sample:

The Barchowsky Fluent Hand OT joins for a true cursive. The letters are the same as the ones in the dot version. No changed shapes to learn!

So, what's the OT? The Barchowsky fonts are Open Type with Contextual alternates. That means that letters can join automatically while you type. The fonts are compatible with recent versions of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. If you have none of these you can download word processors that are also compatible. For Macintosh the software has a modest fee.
